Meet Dr. Richard Anderson
From an early age, it was the dental profession that always called to Dr. Anderson. In his childhood hometown of Chatham, Ontario he grew up in a family where his father (an Anglican minister) and his mother (a high school Principal) supported his growth and development.
Dr. Anderson attended the University of Western Ontario for his Honours Bachelor of Science (2004) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (2008). He has spent time working in places as diverse as Ottawa, Northern Manitoba, London and Chatham. A unique opportunity in Ottawa gave Dr. Anderson the privilege and responsibility of treating young children in a children’s hospital. Then while in private practice in Chatham, he also delivered comprehensive dental care at the local general hospital.
Dr. Anderson’s practice continues to grow and evolve through advanced continuing education, which is of paramount importance to him. He loves family dentistry-whether it be in the fields of cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, implant/surgery, orthodontic or complex dentistry, continuing education inspires him to keep his skills up-to-date with the latest in dentistry, in order to provide his patients with comprehensive clinical excellence. While he takes this mission of quality dentistry seriously, he does so with a light-hearted enthusiasm, sometimes humming or singing a tune while working.
Richard enjoys singing in choirs, acting in community theatre, mountain biking, skiing and yoga. He looks forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your healthiest self!
